Dena and John Perkins are the founders of Threat Angler and collectively bring over forty years of business management and cybersecurity experience. John and Dena met while working at the Federal Reserve where they fulfilled many roles within cybersecurity and business operations. Together they have earned three graduate degrees and hold multiple certifications.
After having their second child, Dena turned her focus to managing the family while also overseeing their real estate investments, assisting other real estate investors, and working within GuidePoint Security business operations. During this time, John focused on designing, building, and leading managed security services with Optiv, GuidePoint, Insight Enterprises, and other service providers.
These experiences led Dena and John to starting Threat Angler with the goal of delivering cybersecurity value without allowing private equity and corporate bureaucracy to distract from that goal. Dena and John are passionate about taking care of customers and team members. Their mission is to provide the same quality of cybersecurity services to businesses of all sizes as well as to personal computing.
